I can honestly say that without this dog I probably would not be here today. He’s saved me from my depression downfalls winning. He’s my pride and joy. So many people don’t understand the love i have for him and say “he’s just a dog.” But he’s so much more. We share a bond that’s greater than anything. I’m in love with Chaz. He is my child and my best friend. He sits there and stares in my eyes forever and we understand each other. He even cries when I do. He waits outside the bathroom door when I shower and watches shows with me and cuddles all day. And rides in the car or goes on walks with me. Ive never had to train him on a leash to stay or to come, he never leaves my side. He is my other half. I dread and have nightmares of the day i will have to part with Chaz when he grows old. i always worry and pray about him and make sure he’s okay and safe and that nothing bad happens to him. He was abused and got chewed up by pit bulls and we rescued and nursed him back to health physically and emotionally when he was going to be put down.
He is scarred just as I am. I tell people about how I rescued him, but really, he rescued me.
